Fortnite Switch has a big PS4 problem that Nintendo can’t solve

Finding people to fill the 100 needed for each match would be a tall order for a game that wasn't as popular as Fortnite.

Save the World is a co-op sandbox survival game that is available now in paid early access on console and PC.

During Nintendo's E3 2018 press conference it was revealed that Fortnite: Battle Royale was heading to the Switch, and has been released today.

Epic Games PR manager Nick Chester confirmed the lack of cross-compatibility with PlayStation 4 on Twitter shortly after the Switch version of Fortnite was announced, and the onslaught of negative reactions to the news poured in after. That's the wonderful news. Fortnite is coming to Nintendo Switch tomorrow according to this leak from the Nintendo eShop.

Needless to say, gamers have been furious over this anti-competitive behavior from Sony and have taken to Reddit and other social media platforms to voice their displeasure.

It's been such a rise in popularity that the company is planning on investing heavily in the title during the rest of the year. This weird limitation means you could end up losing out on the progress you've made should you accidentally log in to the Switch version while primarily playing on PS4 or vice versa.
