Eminem Fans Scared by Gunshot Sound Effects at His Bonnaroo Show

Other Twitter users came to Eminem's defense, saying the rapper has been using the sound effects in his music and at his live shows for years.

But whether "gunshot sound" or "loud boom", the bang frightened some attendees, including those who said they wish they'd been warned in advance about the noise.

Kill You has often used the sound in its performance, however another user said: 'Doesn't matter if eminem has had gun shot effects in the past, the crowd was actually scared and shaken up because of how actually realistic it is'.

In one video taken during the set, a fan immediately dropped their phone upon hearing the sound effect, which was accompanied by a bright flash from the stage. Eminem has yet to comment publicly on the issue.

Rap icon Eminem is being criticized by some fans and defended by others for the use of pyrotechnics during his performance at the Bonaroo Music Festival over the weekend that some concert goers thought were gunshots.

Stranger Things will get several books, including a prequel novel
Netflix has teamed up with Penguin Random House to bring fans a series of books delving deeper into the Stranger Things universe. The latter will include "advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world", according to the publisher.

'Being at a festival/concert in these current times brings new concerns and fears. "Would have been good to have a warning before show".

Eminem is yet to comment, however, many Slim Shady fans stood up for the legendary rapper as they rebutted the sounds have always been a part of his set, while he's long lobbied for gun control in the US. "This is the sad reality that we are living. this is not amusing or even something to be joked about".

Although loud, booming sound effects are common at concerts, they weren't received that way by some fans at Bonnaroo this year, following the recent mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas, that left 58 people dead.

"Eminem has done [this] for years", wrote a fan called Molly. "Why all of a sudden is Tennessee getting all cut up about it?"

He added: "They could warn the crowd or they could not do [the song]".
