Oezil to skip Germany's final tune-up match

Oezil to skip Germany's final tune-up match

Germany plays one more warm-up match against Saudi Arabia on Friday, and Ozil is nearly guaranteed to miss out, with Ilkay Gundogan or Leon oretzka expected to receive the nod over the Arsenal man.

Ozil scored Germany's only goal in their 2-1 defeat by Austria on Saturday but sustained a minor knee injury and has not trained with the team since. Ozil has won 90 caps for Germany and he will be going to his third World Cup in Russian Federation, having participated in 2010 and been a victor in 2014.

Ozil missed Arsenal's last seven Premier League games of the season because of a back injury and other ailments, although he did play in both legs of the Europa League matches against CSKA Moscow and Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is struggling to be fit for the World Cup according to reports in Germany. "I assume he will be okay for the World Cup", said Germany's team director Oliver Bierhoff.

Low is set to name a strong line-up for the clash against the Green Falcons in Leverkusen, with Julian Draxler expected to come in for Ozil, while Mats Hummels, Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller will return to the fold.

"Kingdom Hearts III" Launches in the West on January 29, 2019
We still might perhaps get some more gameplay at the conference though, so it might be time to get your hopes up. The gap between Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts 2 will be just over 13 years.

Which team are you supporting in the 2018 World Cup?

"We want to perform well and do better, something we did not do well last time (against Austria)", left-back Hector said. For me there is no photo finish.

Meanwhile, Miroslav Klose, who trains Germany's attacking players, revealed he was part of the decision to axe Leroy Sane from the squad. And looking at his posts on social media, I get the impression he learned from it.

Holders Germany kick-off their World Cup campaign against Mexico in Group F on June 17.
