David Spade Talks 'Rough Week,' Returns to Stage After Kate Spade Death

"There was no indication and no warning that she would do this", Andy Spade said.

As previously reported, the handbag designer, who was married to the comedian's older brother, Andy Spade, for 24 years, died by suicide on Tuesday, June 5.

The letter has gone viral, with thousands of people sharing it on social media.

As family and fans continue to mourn the loss of iconic designer Kate Spade, plenty of questions still remain as to what exactly drove her to kill herself.

"I remember a red, white, and blue plastic tote that I had that was like a beach tote that I always took to our Fourth of July celebrations and stuff", she recalls. "This was a serious mamma dream come true".

To Delaney the impact Ms. Spade had was not just about the products she created, but the experience. "I met her once and she ironically is from Kansas City, like I am", he said. Police say she left a note that pointed to "a tragic suicide".

"Then, she saw it".

It was a pair of black, furry earmuffs. "She was definitely anxious about what people would say if they found out".

The husband of fashion designer Kate Spade, who took her own life Tuesday, says his wife was getting help for anxiety and depression. But since Kate had already fully sold the company, she did not see a penny from that sale. "We had so much fun that day", he captioned the shot on Instagram. "And lay those smiles in your lap".

'She got a great apartment but she lost her company, her friends and her staff.

"I feel like any education about mental health is good education and as long as we're talking about it it's being talked about". "Sometimes you simply can not SAVE people from themselves!" she wrote.

It's the Kate Spade experience that Delaney was excited to share with her daughter, Elle Delaney, on a trip to Florida nearly four years ago.

That Ms. Spade had a tormented heart breaks hers, wrote Delaney.

He shared remembrances of her on his social media accounts, sharing on Twitter, 'I dont think everyone knew how [expletive] amusing she was.
