In addition, Battlefield V players will now be able to "dive and smash through windows to surprise your enemies", move turrets around the map, drive tanks straight through buildings, and customize characters more.

As expected, EA's E3 2018 briefing delivered some more news about Battlefield V, the much-anticipated World War II shooter from developer DICE.

It's "Royale re-imagined for Battlefield" with destruction, teamplay and other "pillars" of Battlefield, and it'll come after launch. As everyone probably predicted, yes, it will be getting a battle royale mode as well.

The battle royale format mode will be called "Royale", although no further details were revealed during conference.

The network describes it as, "A amusing , intimate and heartbreaking portrait of one of the world's most beloved and inventive comedians".

DICE said Battlefield 5 Battle Royale "will be unlike anything you've played before".

"It will be unlike anything you've played before, and we'll have more to talk about later this year", the developers teased. Battlefield V will not contain loot boxes nor will it have a premium pass.

They will show off the single player part of BV, war stories tomorrow during the Microsoft Xbox One conference.

It was a feature introduced in Battlefield 1 which highlighted battles that haven't had as much attention in history.
