Melania Trump just made her first public appearance in weeks

The first lady remained out of public view for more than three weeks after her hospitalization before appearing at a private White House reception on Monday. Trump in return tweeted that "staying in the Locker Room for the playing of our National Anthem is as disrespectful to our country as kneeling".

It's simply egotistical for President Trump to even imply the Eagles did something wrong because they "disagreed" with the president.

Trump did not mention the Eagles during the event.

"I want to take this opportunity to explain why young Americans stand for our national anthem". We stand together for patriotism. "There's men who have a lot who give back to people with a lot less". Last month, Commissioner Roger Goodell announced a new policy requiring players on-field before the game to stand for the anthem. Reporters who asked people in the crowd who had traveled from Philadelphia received many blank stares. In April, audio obtained by the New York Times from an National Football League meeting featured Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie referring to the Trump administration as "one disastrous presidency".

Former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was accused by federal prosecutors of witness tampering in his tax and money laundering case.

Trump also paired the text of the tweets with video of himself and the first lady on his Facebook page.

Republican House Speaker says Trump shouldn't pardon himself
He demanded a Justice Department inquiry of the matter and dubbed the matter "SPYGATE" in repeated posts on Twitter. Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., also said he has seen no evidence of that.

One card said that New Orleans Saints players Ben Watson and Demario Davis "helped push through LA House bill 265 restoring voting rights for formerly incarcerated citizens".

The Eagles' snub presented yet another controversy, but one Trump sought to turn to advantage.

Before Trump took office, one of the biggest fusses to emerge from a White House victory celebration was the great flip-flop incident of 2005, when the Northwestern University women's lacrosse championship team wore the sandals to meet President George W. Bush. Tuesday, the Philadelphia Eagles refused to be B-list actors in his poorly staged production of racist symbolism.

But the presidential press corps were not invited to that function for military families.

A new Quinnipiac University poll found the first lady is more popular than any of a half-dozen top White House officials surveyed, including Vice President Mike Pence, spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

There was, however, another question about having the invitation to visit the White House rescinded. Warriors' star guard Stephen Curry agreed. "I said I wasn't going to the White House a long time ago", said Chris Long during an interview on Wednesday.
