In a later Fb publish, Dr Voigt described how he lastly discovered who Nicole was by means of "quite a few connections" and advised her in regards to the lump.

As Nicole spoke, he could see a lump about the size of a strawberry nodding up and down at the front of her neck.

Dr Voigt, an otolaryngologist at NYU Langone Health, was watching the TV show "Beachfront Bargain Hunt" in early May when he noticed the small bump on the left side of Nicole McGuinness' throat.

Doctor Erich Voigt was just relaxing in front of the TV when Nicole McGuinness was speaking on a show. It is worth mentioning here that Nicole was already a brain cancer survivor and her doctors hadn't noticed the lump in her throat. "She needs a sonogram and fine needle biopsy", he wrote on his Facebook page.
