A report claimed that the smartphone was to be launched on 21st of May. There had been many speculations on the launch date of the handset.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has sent invites for an event on June 6 to the Brazilian media. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart while Moto G6 will be Amazon exclusive, as mentioned in the tweet from the company.

According to previously leaked information, the phone is expected to have a Snapdragon 636 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, a 3,000 mAH battery and a 1080p screen in the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio.

There's a microSD card slot, a dual 12MP + 5MP camera at the back, 8MP front shooter, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-C, and a 3000mAh battery.

The detailed specifications of the Moto Z3 Play were recently leaked, leaving very little to the consumer's imagination. The fingerprint scanner is no longer in front and will now be on the right side of the phone.

So, the company is most likely to start Android 8.0 Oreo official rollout for the Moto G5s Plus by the end of this month or early June. The details about the secondary sensor are unknown as of now.

The event in Brazil could also see the launch of new Moto Mods. These Moto Mods will be compatible with every Moto Z device launched so far since all of these devices have the same dimensions.
