Vikings, Jaguars to hold joint training camp practices in Minnesota

The Minnesota Vikings will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in joint training camp practices over two days leading up to their preseason game on August 18, the teams announced Thursday. The teams will practice on Aug. 15 Aug. 16 in the lead-up to their Aug. 18 preseason game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Both teams fell one win short of a Super Bowl appearance past year - the Vikings losing to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles and the Jaguars to the AFC champion New England Patriots.

Jacksonville hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for joint practices during the past two training camps.

There will be no access to training camp without a reserved ticket.

Beastie Boys' memoir will include a graphic novel, cookbook, playlists and more
That's why the book's release date was pushed back, and now, it looks like the memoir will officially see an October 30 release. Almost five years ago, it was announced that Beastie Boys' Mike D and Ad-Rock were working on a memoir about the group.

This is the third straight year that the Jaguars have participated in joint practices during training camp.

Having these two teams work together in joint practices at the brand new Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center will be interesting and should help both teams hone their skills with a little more competition and challenge during the preseason.

While the joint practices will be open to the public, fans wanting to attend will have to reserve tickets in advance on the Vikings website.
