New Halo Arcade Game Announced

New Halo Arcade Game Announced

For some gamers, their fondest and earliest memories are of long hours and countless quarters spent in a local arcade blasting through their favorite adventures.

After months of rumors that Halo would be making an appearance at Microsoft's blowout E3 showcase, a new Halo game got a stealth trailer release on what seems like a random Thursday evening in mid-May. Halo: Fireteam Raven has been officially announced, and it's what no one expected.

Who Cares if Suns Land #1 Pick, Can DeAndre Ayton Play?
In what will be arguably the most important draft in Sacramento Kings history, the odds have already bounced in their favor. He looks ready to make an immediate impact in the league and keeping him in the state of Arizona makes sense.

The game plays on a 130-inch, 4K screen and the setup is outfitted with four physical machine guns. Whether you're slaying Covenant soldiers, destroying space crafts, or exterminating the parasitic lifeform the Flood, Halo: Fireteam Raven will offer everything great about the Halo series despite being an arcade experience. You'll don the role of Fireteam Raven - an elite group of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. You can play Halo: Fireteam Raven with four people in total as you fight alongside Master Chief during the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. Remember those parasites? Fun. I really miss those old arcade days, and though I'll likely never get to play this, it's a nice reminder of those times. Players can also scan a QRC code to upload high scores to the Halo Waypoint online portal and compare with friends. According to the press release, Halo: Fireteam Raven is now being co-developed by Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix.

Halo: Fireteam Raven will come to Dave & Busters restaurant arcades in the United States and Canada first this summer, before appearing at other locations at a later date.
