Las Vegas Police Evacuate Mall As Precaution After Reports Of Armed Man

Authorities in Las Vegas responded to the Boulevard Mall late Thursday after a "individual with a gun" name, police mentioned.

Deputy Chief Chris Jones said a video was obtained showing the armed person.

According to TV station KLAS Channel-8, police had established a "massive presence" at the Boulevard Mall at Desert Inn Road and Maryland Parkway.

In what will be arguably the most important draft in Sacramento Kings history, the odds have already bounced in their favor. He looks ready to make an immediate impact in the league and keeping him in the state of Arizona makes sense.

Shoppers have posted images on social media that show dozens of police cars outside the mall.

The mall has been evacuated while officers search for suspect. "Police have not located this person and they are clearing the building to make sure the person is not hiding inside". One store owner told a reporter that several people may have been shot, but police have not yet confirmed that. Some reported he walked into the Boulevard Mall.

"No person located with gun, no shots fired, no victims. Units were on scene very quickly", the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.
