'Horrific' school bus crash in New Jersey

At least two people are dead after a full-size school bus with middle school students aboard collided with a dump truck on Route 80 in New Jersey.

The crash took place at around 9:30 a.m. on I-80 westbound near Exit 25 and Route 206.

"I have never seen anything like that". "It doesn't take long to look at this accident scene and to understand how horrific the injuries would be".

Mount Olive Mayor Rob Greenbaum said he rushed to the scene and was observing the rescue efforts from an overpass.

The body of the bus came completely off its chassis. A piece of the front end of the bus with the steering wheel visible was laying on top of the metal barrier separation the highway from the median. Photos from the scene: The bus was said to be occupied with 40 to 46 people at the time, with students from East Brook Middle School in Paramus.

State police said that an unknown number of children were on the bus, but they don't know how serious the injuries are.

Why Do These Lizards Have Toxic Lime-green Blood?
They examined 51 species of skinks, which included six species with green blood, two of which are species new to science. In humans, and, indeed, all other vertebrates, chronic accumulation of these pigments in the blood causes jaundice.
