Former WWE Star Enzo Amore Cleared Of Sexual Assault Allegations

Back in January, Enzo Amore was Champion of the Cruiserweight division and then he was accused of rape and released by WWE.

Amore, real name Eric Arndt, 31, who was released from WWE on January 23 after news of the accusations against him went public the previous evening, released a statement Wednesday on Twitter through his attorney, Tom Cargill, in which he unequivocally denied the accusations.

The Phoenix Police Department, Arizona, made a decision to cease its investigation into Enzo Amore accused of having sexually abused Philomena Sheanan because "there was not enough evidence" to bring charges against the fighter.

However, although Arndt's presence in Phoenix on the day of the incident was confirmed, his defense claimed that no officials or law enforcement brought the matter to his attention prior the "careless, unfounded tirade on social media".

Enzo Amore has reason to celebrate after the Phoenix Police Department confirmed that the investigation into sexual assault allegations has been closed due to insufficient evidence.
