Eagles DE Brandon Graham has ankle injury repaired

Graham had the procedure May 1 and is now in a protective boot.

Not to mention, it looks like Philadelphia can add Brandon Graham to their list of players dealing with injuries after the defensive star recently had surgery on his right ankle.

The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are no longer in rebuild mode, which means they've been less prone this offseason to ditching experienced players in favor of youngsters with untapped potential.

Now, Graham is in a walking boot but is expected to report to the NovaCare Complex on Monday as the team begins OTAs. The mandatory minicamp will be held June 12-14, followed by training camp in late July.

Graham was injured Christmas night, in the Eagles' victory over the Raiders, in which he played only 38 snaps, well below his usual tally, leaving the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.

ABC to air Penn State-Pitt prime time game
Penn State will play eight conference matchups, five of which are against teams who qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season. For the fist time since 2013, the blue and white will kick off their 2018 campaign with three preseason matchups in August.

Another Super Bowl hero, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, underwent offseason surgery for a rotator cuff injury he suffered in training camp and played with all season.

After giving the ankle time to heal on its own, Graham opted for the minor procedure to help speed up the process.

Graham is entering the past year of his contract in what will be his ninth season in Philadelphia. Despite some negotiations over the past several months, the two sides have been unable to strike a new deal so far.

Graham, the Eagles' first-round draft pick in 2010, is coming off a solid season that saw him lead the team with 9.5 sacks and also estabish himself as a reliable run defender.
