'Destination Wedding' Trailer Reunites Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves

In their upcoming rom-com, Frank (Reeves) and Lindsay (Ryder) are two pessimistic wedding guests who consistently complain about everything.

The Plot: Destination Wedding reunites two of Hollywood's most adored stars, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder, as the socially awkward Frank and Lindsay.

People has revealed the trailer for Destination Wedding, which looks like a romantic comedy that could be beloved even by those who detest romantic comedies. "Destination weddings are presumptuous". They're not thrilled to be paired up at the event, but somehow, they end up annoying each other in the same hotel room, and after Reeves declares, "I believe that there's nobody for anyone", I think we can accurately guess where this will go. And as a filmmaker, I have the benefit of their having known each other for so long.

He told PEOPLE: "They rehearsed their dialogue together, helped each other, made everybody laugh - they were delightful". Ryder owes her success to Netflix's Stranger Things, which is heading into its third season, while Reeves has had great luck with the John Wick franchise, which just began production on its third and final chapter. DJ Dallenbach also stars in the film with Victor Levin serving as both director and writer. But they also keep it fun. They are the movie.

Raptors roasted for congratulating Dwane Casey on COY nomination
VanVleet is a finalist along with former Raptor Lou Williams (Los Angeles Clippers) and Eric Gordon (Houston Rockets). After Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri fired Casey on Friday, he addressed media while fighting tears.

The implication there is that yes, their characters do fall in love - or some variant of it - and we're furious with anticipation to see how that occurs.

The film marks another project where Ryder and Reeves are joining forces, previously starring together in 1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula, 2006's A Scanner Darkly and 2009's The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

Destination Wedding will hit theaters August 24.
