'Daredevil' Season 3: Wilson Bethel Reportedly Playing Bullseye

After three long years, the Marvel Netflix universe is finally coming together for the epic crossover event series The Defenders, where Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will team up to fight to save NY from a massive army of deadly ninjas known as The Hand.

The Bullseye character appeared in the Daredevil movie with Ben Affleck and played by Collin Ferrell, but fans are largely trying to scrub that movie from their memory. Bethel was cast in November to play an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, but that could just be the cover for his true identity. Information about Bethel's character was withheld by Marvel TV at the time of the release and know we can see why.

Fans of the comics know Bullseye as Lester or Benjamin Poindexter, an assassin for hire who's had multiple run-ins with Daredevil at the behest of The Kingpin. During his Punisher MAX run, creator Jason Aaron reimagined Bullseye as Sheldon Pendergrass, a highly-skilled marksman and deadly hand-to-hand combatant, so perhaps "STEVE" will be Sheldon in Season 3. "Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn't want Bullseye to show up either". Since then, he has appeared on shows such as The Astronaut Wives Club, Blood & Oil, and How to Get Away with Murder.

Before we begin with this list, I would like to note that this article may feature spoilers for some of the Marvel Netflix series up until this point, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

10-year-old bitten by shark on SC coast talks about experience
She said neither of her sons saw the shark until it attacked. It happened over the weekend in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The boy was flown to a hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

With Elektra already dead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Daredevil won't be able to go all the way there, but fans will still be psyched if Bullseye is indeed part of the upcoming season 3 mix.

What do you think of this casting choice?

Fans are definitely excited to see Matt wearing his original costume, which was inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s Daredevil miniseries "Man Without Fear".
