Complete squad for Women's IPL exhibition match

According to a BCCI statement, Indian stars including Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana will be the star attractions for the game titled Women's T20 Challenge.

As per the press release from BCCI, it says, "The one-of-its-kind match featuring 26 players including 10 worldwide stars from Australia, England and New Zealand will be played ahead of the VIVO IPL 2018 Qualifier 1".

The star players of the Indian team will rub the shoulders with some of the best foreign cricketers in the shortest format. Out of the 26, 10 worldwide stars from Australia, England and New Zealand will grace their presence of the encounter which is slowly gaining more excitement with each passing day. We have talked to many cricket associations for this match.

Alyssa Healy, Australia's wicketkeeper-batter, Beth Mooney, Australia's opener, Suzie Bates, the veteran New Zealand all-rounder, are some of the worldwide stars in the Trailblazers' set-up. "Danni Wyatt and Daniel Hazell will add the English flavour".

The women's game has seen a wave of popularity in the country following the national team's run to the final of World Cup a year ago.

The parents have previously said that they are expecting a boy. "I have a husband who truly loves the whole experience", she said.

He further informed that the game will be played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium and will be telecast live in India and across the world.

It also comprises Indian cricketers of the calibre of Mandhana, the southpaw opener and captain of the side, Deepti Sharma, the spinning all-rounder, Jhulan Goswami, the India pace spearhead and the young prodigy, Jemimah Rodrigues.

Diana Edulji, member of Committee of Administrators (CoA) and former India captain, said, "We are excited to announce the first-of-its-kind exhibition match involving our women cricketers".
