New Dark Energy Discovery Suggests Alien Life In Other Universes

According to a new pair of studies in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, there's a decent chance that life-fostering planets could exist in a parallel universe - even if that universe were being torn apart by dark energy.

Introduced in the 1970-80s, the Multiverse theory can explain the "luckily small" amount of dark energy in our Universe that enabled it to host life, among many universes that could not.

A team of scientists from the United Kingdom and Australia made this finding while studying "dark energy" - the mysterious force accelerating the expansion of the universe.

They utilized huge computer system simulations to recommend that, if other universes exists, they might be just as most likely to harbor life.

Cosmologists from the Durham University in the United Kingdom and Australia's University of Sydney, Western Sydney University, and the University of Western Australia used huge computer simulations of our observed universe to examine how different levels of dark energy might affect the development of life. The research does not tend to entirely falsify the Multiverse idea, however, it just says that tiny quantity of dark energy present in the universe that humans live in could be explained better by the help of a natural law, which is yet to be discovered.
