Borderlands 3 Won't Be at E3, Gearbox Says

Gearbox Software will not be showing anything for the upcoming Borderlands 3 at E3 2018, according to a report from Shack News.

"It feels as if "Borderlands 3" may be destined to be the next Half-Life 3 in that regard", he added.

In a report from Shacknews, Gearbox software was said to have talked to a "room of journalists" today and said that there would be "no Borderlands presence at E3 whatsoever".

Then there's Randy Pitchford, Gearbox's CEO, who injected himself into yesterday's conversation with a weirdly convoluted update that sorta, kinda, maybe closed the lid on all of these Borderlands E3 murmurings.

A2 Milk shares are getting creamed
A2 Milk previously forecast marketing spend for the full year to be in the range of $NZ61 million to $NZ65 million. Despite today's fall, shares in a2 Milk are up more than 40% since the start of the year.

Borderlands 3 has been in the works for at least two years now, but word on the game's details has been scarce. He stated that people would still interpret his Tweets the way they want to. "For example", he continued, "I could write it out now precisely and specifically that "Borderlands 3" will not be at E3 and many of you will choose not to believe it".

While we realise we are absolutely doing what Pitchford says we will in his tweets, we can't help but wonder if this is some kind of misdirection or, perhaps, a hint that what we'll see next from the Borderlands universe won't be called Borderlands 3. Gearbox Software will have other titles to show off to gamers during the conference next month.

In better news, Pitchford ended his thread by stating that the studio is "working harder than we have ever worked in order to create new and exciting things in hopes of entertaining you".

Borderlands 3 was one of the leaked games from Walmart Canada.
