In reality, Gilstrap-Portley graduated from suburban North Mesquite High School in 2011, an unidentified source told WFAA. But one Dallas man took nostalgia to the extreme and passed himself off as a student at several Dallas high schools.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Texas after being accused of posing as an evacuee from Hurricane Harvey who enrolled in a Dallas high school and played on its basketball team, WFAA.com reported.

Gilstrap-Portley enrolled at Hillcrest, saying he was homeless after being displaced by the storm. Sidney Bouvier Gilstrap-Portley began attending Skyline High School after claiming to be a Hurricane Harvey refugee, but moved on later to Hillcrest High School and joined the basketball team there.

Those who followed Dallas high school basketball this year may know the name Rashun Richardson. This year, he used Hurricane Harvey as cover to attempt to relaunch his basketball career.

Theresa May confirmed the risky materials would be removed during Prime Minister's Questions earlier today. She also gave an update on the accommodation of the West London block's former residents.

The safety of our students at Hillcrest High School is our top priority.

Gilstrap-Portley even played for the Hillcrest basketball team, the school confirmed.

"It's unbelievable to me that he could get away with this", she said. And the mother of a 14-year-old classmate of Gilstrap-Portley says the 25-year-old also dated her daughter while pretending to be a Hillcrest student.

It wasn't until one of his former coaches, from North Mesquite, spotted him at a tournament in April, that his plan was foiled. "I don't know what, how [the school] let this slip through the cracks". Randal admits that "he was a good kid". Portley was arrested Friday and is facing a charge of tampering with government records. He is now out on bond.
