Authorities investigating the gruesome discovery of a child's body found in a suitcase along the PATH tracks in New Jersey have identified the victim as a missing 2-year-old girl from Virginia and have arrested the child's father. Richmond police say that the girl and her father, Travis Lamont Plummer, were previously reported missing in March.

The child was identified as Te'Myah Plummer, according to ABC station WABC in NY.

Authorities did not believe Te'Myah was in any danger.

Te'Myah Plummer was last seen by family in Richmond in August, according to NBC affiliate WWBT.
