Swedish EDM DJ Avicii Dies at 28

In 2014, the DJ had his gallbladder and appendix removed and had been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis due in part to excessive alcohol consumption. This is is our tribute to him, it's a 60-minute selection of our favorites.

Taking to Twitter, the Taoiseach expressed his sympathies to those effected by Avicii's death.

'Wake Me Up was the song of the summer of 2013 and my song of the Camino'.

'So sorry to hear of the untimely passing of Avicii, ' he wrote.

Expressen said he spent time with friends, went kitesurfing and enjoyed the country so much was planning to stay a few extra days.
