LG G7 ThinQ Images Leak Ahead of Launch, Showing a Notch

One of the two screens will be of a curved variety, while the other one will be completely flat.

But, as we all know by now, Cupertino plays by its own rules. The front shows the all screen front with a notch while the rear panel has a vertically aligned dual camera setup along with a LED flash. The new speaker is called the LG X-Boom Handy Splash, and like the rest of the range, comes with a telescopic handle and recessed wheels for added mobility and ease of movement. The company also made the displays for Google's Pixel 2 XL smartphones.

It is mentioned to come with a 6.1-inch display that will be offering Quad HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.

"As BTS has become world-class artists on the back of their continuous efforts and strong capabilities, LG also plans to establish a new image for its smartphones based on perfection and distinctive convenience", the company said. LG opted for a fresh start this year with its premium gadgets - as the G lineup has performed dismally in the recent past.

LG is expected to launch the LG G7 with the latest Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform at MWC 2018. First one (see above) shows off a boot screen that displays the "LG G7 ThinQ" moniker. Their source also provided TechRadar with the smartphone's specifications. The LG G7 ThinQ will be offering 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It could be one of the variants of the handset, as previous leaks had hinted at a 6GB RAM model. It's an odd time for the likes of Samsung and LG to hold back with the storage - since other companies are more than eager to offer 8GB. Instead of launching phones at a specific time every year, it would bring new devices when they are needed and when it has something new to offer.

The LG G7 ThinQ is rumored to be announced before the end of the month and it is believed to hit the market sometime in May. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details.
