'Dark Souls: Remastered' on Nintendo Switch Delayed to 'Later This Summer'

They had been set to release alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases on May 25th, but the release date for the Nintendo Switch version has been pushed back.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Dark Souls Remastered on Nintendo Switch and the Solaire of Astora amiibo have been delayed. "We are excited to watch the thriving Dark Souls community grow and support new players experiencing the title for the first time".

Obviously, we're crushed with disappointment. Nintendo Switch Online is meant to hit in September 2018. Remastered will deliver "unique capabilities" for the Switch version and dynamic 4K resolution to the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and on Steam.

LG G7 ThinQ leaked in fresh render, confirms notch display
One will be equipped with an RGB lens with an aperture size of f/1.6, another will be equipped with a 107-degree wide-angle lens. The upcoming flagship device from LG has been a subject of speculation since MWC 2018, all thanks to rumors and leaked renders.

On the positive side, we have to offer up kudos to Bandai Namco and the folks working on this port specifically for recognizing the need to take a little more time with this project. It would seem that whatever issue has occurred, it only impacts the Switch edition.

The May 25th release date still applies to the other versions, however.
