Bruins go for 3-0 lead vs. Maple Leafs

After being held without a point in the first two games of the series, Auston Matthews finally got on the board a with a nasty bar down goal to break the tie and gave the Maple Leafs the 3-2 lead. After DeBrusk made it 2-0 on the power play four minutes later, Miller bounced one in off the back of defenseman Nikita Zaitsev to give the Bruins a three-goal lead and chase Andersen.

Mrs. Matthews has already had some memorable reactions in her son's two-year career, with the best definitely being her losing her mind and crying tears of joy at Auston being the first to score four goals in his National Hockey League debut last season.

The Leafs, as expected, came out flying with tons of speed and physicality. He has been out of the lineup since March 31, when he was struck in his right ear by a slap shot. Nash had an wonderful season with the Bruins and provides the third line with a solid play-making centreman.

Kadri got a three-game suspension for the hit on Wingels. It probably shouldn't have been a penalty.

As if this weather hasn't been destructive enough, it's gone and done the unspeakable - cancelled a sacred event, the Leafs tailgate party at the Maple Leafs Square to be exact.

Drake releasing new album in June, probably called 'Scorpion'
The title is assumed to be a reference to the Scorpio, which is Drizzy's astrological sign since he's born on October 24. Though he doesn't write it specifically in the caption for the post, he's been teasing the new album for several months.

However, while Toronto got taken apart in its first two games, the Avs were quite competitive against the NHL's best regular-season team.

Patrick Marleau, with two, and James van Riemsdyk also scored for Toronto, while Mitch Marner and Morgan Rielly added two assists each.

Colorado scored the first goal in both games and was able to play on even terms for 40 minutes in Game 1 before dropping a 5-2 decision. He faked a shot at the point, skated past a defender toward goal, found a small window to target at and buried the shot from a tough angle.

The Bruins have scored 12 goals in two games, and they have been led by the stellar line of Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak-the latter is coming off an artful three-goal, three-assist performance in Game 2. He beat Rask with a short-side snipe, and was very fired up in is celebration. "I think people on the outside are getting to know". David Pastrnak couldn't score all alone at the net and Rick Nash hit the post on a one-timer.

Boston leads the opening round series 2-0. It was his second goal of the game. Here, in a series where Toronto has been absolutely abused by the Bruins, you'll find the Maple Leafs somewhere between even odds and a -115 favorite.
