White House Admits Comey Swung Election to Trump

Kellyanne Conway's suggestion on Monday that James Comey's actions before the 2016 presidential election "swung" the outcome and enabled Donald Trump to win did not go unnoticed or unchallenged on Twitter.

Conway was likely referring to a letter Comey sent to Congress 11 days before the 2016 general election, in which the then-FBI director wrote that more emails had turned up in the Hillary Clinton email probe.

"The president is very confounded that this person is always able to divert the spotlight to him", Conway said told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos on the morning after his exclusive interview with Comey.

Conway went on to say that Comey "struggled to answer basic questions", that he's giving "a revisionist version of history", (and, of course that Trump "hardly knew the man"). She continued to push back against Cuomo's assertion that Comey's announcement hurt Clinton's chances.

In fact, there seems to be an "all-out assault on Comey" coming from the right as he prepares to release his book, A Higher Loyalty, tomorrow.

Vikings sign LB Kendricks to reported 5-year extension
Kendricks' deal is worth $50 million over the next five years, with $25 million of it guaranteed, a league source confirmed. Through his first three seasons, Kendricks has tallied 314 total tackles with over 100 in both of the last two years.

"I saw James Comey last night and I thought: 'Is it true that James Comey swung an election?" On Sunday night, Comey's interview with ABC's "20/20" was broadcasted, with the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director saying Trump was "morally unfit to be president". Those close to Trump have in turn sought to discredit Comey, whom Trump fired as Federal Bureau of Investigation director in May of past year. "I don't think so, '" she said. "As I said dozens of time, Hillary, not Comey, is why Hillary lost", she wrote.

Shortly after her lap on the morning shows, Conway told the Daily Beast that she was being "tongue-in-cheek" during her comments on ABC.

She also smacked down the IJR for running with ABC's framing.

During Sunday's interview, Comey said of Trump, "I think he's morally unfit to be president".

Conway also complained to Stephanopoulos that Comey was given a "free commercial" to urge viewers to vote against Trump. "Suggesting he is a partisan interfering with the election is risky & unfair".
