Razer Phone owners can update to Android 8.1 Oreo starting today

Last month, let owners of the Razer Phone know that they would not be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo.

What do you think about the Razer Phone getting an updated to Android 8.1 and the new availability at Best Buy? It's only a matter of time now before all Razer Phone owners can finally get a taste of Oreo.

Announced on Twitter earlier today, Razer has officially kicked off a public rollout of Android Oreo to the Razer Phone. They've created a name for themselves over the past decade, coming correct with all manner of gaming-focused products from mice to keyboards to laptops and everything in-between.

Furniture sales climb 3.9% in March
NRF reported a 0.3% annual gain on a seasonally-adjusted basis from February to March, with annual retail sales in March up 5%. Sporting goods stores were down 0.9% year-over-year and down 1.8% from February seasonally adjusted.

Now, with the Razer Phone, the company's introduced their first Android-running mobile device bent on being the best at presenting and playing video and audio media. This device was revealed in November of 2017 and it's been on the market since December. It can also be purchased from Razer.com, Amazon, and at Microsoft Stores as well. Unfortunately, the announcement doesn't come with an official changelog, so aside from the new features brought by Android 8.1 Oreo, there isn't much else to add.

The OS update brings along a cleaner visual design, improvements to the Dolby Atmos app and support for the Netflix widget. It also contains the latest security patches and bug fixes, which is particularly noteworthy as other smartphone makers have recently been caught out for skipping over some of Google's security updates.
