However, like it did with the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, the OnePlus 6 will also, eventually, make its way to offline stores as OnePlus is now trying to capture a market that strays away from shopping online.

So far, there has been no hint by the company regarding the official launch date of the OnePlus 6. While there is no clarity on when it will launch, it's likely to continue with its exclusive long standing association with Amazon Amazon India, when it launches here.

Coming to the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 6, the smartphone is set to bring a host of new features. The teaser photo showcased the repositioned alert slider. This not a surprise as all previous OnePlus models were exclusively available on the e-commerce portal. The upcoming smartphone from OnePlus has garnered a lot of attention in the past few weeks, all thanks to the numerous leaks that appeared to reveal the specifications of the handset. As for it, the online promotional poster of the Coral Blue OnePlus 6 confirms the authenticity of this claim. With "The speed you need" theme, the smartphone is likely to get advanced hardware for enhanced performance. If rumours of a Special Edition Avengers OnePlus 6 are true, then the smartphone will launch before the 27th of April (global release date of Avengers: Infinity War). OnePlus has also teased a new functionality wherein users will be able to adjust the camera focus using the physical button.

Allegedly, the scenes are being put together later this year, but that could be said for the rest of the movie as well. The two of them spent the bulk of The Last Jedi together and their rough relationship was a key part of the movie.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6 will apparently flaunt a dual rear camera setup featuring a 20MP sensor and another 16MP sensor. The report also adds that the OnePlus 6 will have a slightly bigger 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. There will be a OnePlus 6 variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which is the highest one the company has ever offered. It is likely to run Android Oreo out-of-the-box, and support Face Unlock.

Former reports on the smartphone had posted the information that the OnePlus 6 is to support edge-to-edge full-screen display along with the notch.
