Missing south Kashmir Army man joins Hizb

The 23-year-old, who joined the army three years ago, was on leave since April 7 and went missing on April 13-14, the officials said.

Mir, who was posted in the Army's Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry unit, reportedly joined the militant group on Sunday, PTI quoted unidentified police officers as saying.

His father, Mohammed Sultan Mir, approached the police station on Monday morning and reported that his son had been missing.
