Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho demands consistency from Paul Pogba

United's loss to West Brom hands City the title, and after the match Mourinho gave his reaction to this development; one that has been a very long time.

An unhappy Jose Mourinho described his Manchester United squad as "masters in complication" after their 1-0 defeat to bottom-of-the-table West Bromwich Albion, a result that effectively handed rivals Manchester City the Premier League title.

West Brom held on for a shock win that keeps their slim hopes of avoiding relegation alive while City were able to celebrate the first Premier League title of Pep Guardiola's reign.

The United manager remains confident in his own ability but said his side must replicate City's consistency next season. The defeat at Old Trafford helped the Etihad outfit mathematically win the Premier League.

United have scored a full 30 goals fewer than City this season and Mourinho has not managed to get his side to click, despite being able to bring on further talent such as Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.

SEC reportedly told Nick Saban he couldn't hire Hugh Freeze at Alabama
Instead, Saban wound up promoting Mike Locksley to co-offensive coordinator and hired Penn State assistant coach Josh Gattis. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey used permission granted to him via bylaw to dissuade Alabama from hiring Freeze.

"I think we were deservedly punished", he told Sky Sports following the match. "So one of the things we have to improve is consistency".

"You can't take it for granted.before you know it, it's gone".

"I don't want to come here with excuses".

Although this performance was particularly bad, many Red Devils fans will point out that this type of turgid display has been commonplace this season. "There was a period of adaptation for him coming into the league and for us taking in his methods". You could see the difference in the attitude to players compared to last week. "One team was dominant in Germany and one had [Lionel] Messi, but we are nothing without the team". "These guys are fantastic, awesome - they are incredible".

"We did not deserve to lose, we gave them opportunity to win the match".
