Gwen Stefani Adorably Sings During Blake Shelton's ACM Awards Performance

The country singer, 34, received the award for her hit track "Tin Man" - a song she wrote around the same time she split from The Voice coach Shelton in 2015.

Still, Shelton's ex-wife Miranda Lambert thanked fans after their public divorce. "I am an terrible person", one user said on Twitter. They went public with their relationship in 2015. Numerous genre's younger acts sang along to every word, including Lauren Alaina, Preston Brust of LoCash and Trip Howell of Lanco, while Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line raised a glass from their seats.

Last month, the acclaimed artist opened up about wearing her heart on her sleeve while chatting with the local Tennessee outlet Knox News.

While accepting her Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year, Miranda Lambert appeared to throw some slight shade at her ex Blake Shelton. Word is Shelton and Lambert have made a point not to interact with one another amid rumors that they are becoming friends again.

Lambert subsequently changed into a black sleeveless gown with a layer of lace on the bottom; and a black skirt that showcased her toned legs. Along with Song of the Year, she also won Female Vocalist of the Year Sunday night.

"Speaking about the meaning behind the song, Miranda told iHeartRadio a year ago: "'Tin Man, ' I guess [was] going through a lot of times where I felt pretty empty-I understood a whole new meaning.

Still, Lambert also pointed out that no women were given a nod for Entertainer of the Year.
