Browns sign WR Josh Gordon to exclusive rights tender

Gordon was an "exclusive rights" free-agent this offseason, meaning that after the Browns tendered the wide receiver a restricted free-agent offer, he was not eligible to negotiate with any other teams.

Gordon will make the minimum salary for a player with two accrued National Football League seasons.

Gordon should have been an unrestricted free agent by now, but multiple suspensions caused his contract to toll.

Gordon first joined the Browns as a second-round pick in the 2012 supplemental draft.

Gordon, 26, appeared in five games for Cleveland in 2017.

Daryl Worley charged with DUI, gun-related offense
According to NBC Sports Philadelphia , Worley, 23, was arrested just outside the team's practice facility in South Philadelphia. After he was awakened around 6 a.m., police say, Worley became combative and fought with officers.

After missing two full seasons, Gordon returned a year ago to catch 18 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown in five games. Landry was designated the franchise player of the Dolphins in February before being traded to Cleveland.

Gordon will earn $790,000 on a one-year deal.
