Baaghi 2 box-office collection: Tiger Shroff film crosses Rs 150 crore mark

Despite the biggest cricket tournament IPL and big release this week Tiger-Disha starrer has been steady at the box office.

October earned Rs4.50 crore on Friday, but added Rs7 crore on Saturday, and Rs7.5 crore on Sunday to the collection. Though Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani had never admitted to being in love, but according to the reports, the two were dating each other. The film is high on action and drama and qualifies to be called as a typical masala Bollywood potboiler.

Baaghi 2 is the official remake of Telugu mystery thriller Kshanam that released in 2016. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed on Twitter that "the mass pockets/single screens remain the main contributors" for the Ahmed Khan directorial's BO success.

Tiger is the youngest actor to cross 150 crore at the Box Office in such a small span of time, leaving behind his contemporaries. "Baaghi" starred Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role and had received a good feedback from the fans back in 2016.

The film hit the screens on March 30 this year and it has now crossed the Rs 150-crore mark at the box office in India. Baaghi 2 has also become the highest opener of 2018, surpassing Padmaavat which had managed to mint Rs 19 crore on day one.
