'Tag' Trailer Debuts. Ed Helms, Jon Hamm & Jeremy Renner Lead The Cast

The game takes place for just one month each year, but it now happens to coincide with the wedding of the game's only undefeated player (Renner). But he knows his friends are coming for him, and he's ready for it. It has an ensemble cast led by Ed Helms (The Hangover movies, ), Jake Johnson (New Girl), Annabelle Wallis (The Mummy), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), Isla Fisher (Now You See Me), Leslie Bibb (Iron Man 2), Hannibal Buress (Neighbors), with Jon Hamm (Baby Driver), and Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Town).

The trailer for "Tag", a new feature film about a group of guys who have been playing a decades-long game of tag since their school days, made its debut this morning on "Ellen".

Tag is one of the latest comedies that not only has a stellar star-studded cast but is based on a pretty hilarious true story that begs to be watched.

For almost 30 years, Patrick Schultheis and nine of his childhood friends have been embroiled in an epic match of schoolyard "Tag".

Texas C Mo Bamba declaring for 2018 NBA Draft
Texas freshman Mohamed "Mo" Bamba is hanging up his Longhorns jersey and headed to the NBA Draft-which isn't too unexpected. Prior to Bamba's announcement, Oklahoma Sooners guard Trae Young also confirmed he'd be testing the draft waters.

Jeff Tomsic directed the movie from a script by Rob McKittrick and Mark Steilen. Though the movie is only loosely based on the exploits of Patrick Schultheis and nine of his childhood friends. But the whole thing was revived 8 years later at a reunion.

Brandishing the tagline, "We're not kidding", Tag is clearly looking to set a high bar of absurdity for concept comedies based on schoolyard games.

The game seemed to get intense in real life, too.

"It's just such a sweet premise". You can check out this riotous game of Tag in the trailer courtesy of Warner Bros.
