Primetime Ratings: NBC Wins With Solid 'Voice'

Meanwhile, FOX (3.731 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) offered up originals from "Lucifer" (3.235 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "The Resident" (4.227 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6). It was a night of relative stability for both singing competitions; compared to the previous Monday, The Voice and American Idol only lost two-tenths of a ratings point.

ABC | American Idol (7.7 mil/1.6) dipped two tenths in the demo from its past two airings, while The Good Doctor (9.1 mil/1.6) slipped two tenths to match its second-lowest rating of the season.

And finally, new episodes of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.274 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "iZombie" (0.755 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (1.014 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) rounded out the night. NBC owned the hours between 8 and 10 o'clock by an advantage of 33 percent in the key demographic. Superior Donuts rated a level 0.8 and Living Biblically a flat 0.7, before drama Scorpion scored a flat 0.8. Fox was fourth with 3.7 million. The CW averaged a 0.3 and 1 million viewers.
