Macaulay Culkin offers to fight WWE star Rusev

Macaulay Culkin offers to fight WWE star Rusev

The Rock knows a thing or two about being a celebrity, and he also knows a thing or two about competing at WrestleMania.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, a man all too familiar with WrestleMania, had the flawless suggestion - his Central Intelligence co-star Kevin Hart!

The Bulgarian Brute recently posted out on Twitter that he wants a celebrity to challenge him to a match at this year's Showcase of the Immortals in April. He's already had quite a few responses to his open challenge.

Rusev, who issued the challenge in a tweet Wednesday, said he wasn't willing to fight Culkin, who played Kevin McAllister in Home Alone and the title character in Richie Rich as a child.

"It's cool. I'd be doing all the hitting anyway".

Toyota could integrate Uber's self-driving technology
Aiming to catch up with the front-runner, Uber has forged partnerships with a number of companies, including Toyota. It even offers flexible vehicle leasing terms for the drivers of the American automaker.

Pitch Perfect star and singer Skylar Astin then accepted the challenge - but only if he had some help.

The comedian unfortunately did not respond, but that didn't stop other celebrities from saying whether or not they should step up and face Rusev.

While it remains to be seen whether the former "Home Alone" star will be stepping into the ring during Wrestlemania, the Twitterverse had a lot to say about the potential match. @WWEDramaKing can outsing you! "And if you think I'm outmatched, wait until you hear who I have in mind for my stable".

Rusev did have a match on the Fastlane card last weekend, but it was one he was never going to win against Shinsuke Nakamura. With only weeks left to go until WrestleMania 34 though, it's odd that he hasn't been booked for a match when you take into account how over Rusev Day is at the moment. Still, a match against a celebrity provides an interesting concept for WWE should they wish to explore it.
