Meek Mill's Mother Begs District Attorney To Resolve Her Son's Case

Meek Mill's Mother Begs District Attorney To Resolve Her Son's Case

Prosecutors have confirmed that the arresting officer was among those prosecutors from the previous administration tried to keep off the witness stand because of credibility questions.

Flanked by Tacopina and Sharpton was Kathy Williams, Meek's mother, whose tearful pleas for DA Larry Krasner's help stuck with the more than 1,000 people who showed up to the forum in support.

The district attorney's office said its policy was not to request more than six to 12 months for technical violations of probation and parole, and it was unlikely that the appeal could be decided within six months. "That risk increases as long as (Mill) remains in custody".

"We are very pleased with the District Attorney's filing today stating that he is not opposing Meek's immediate release on bail, and that there is a strong likelihood that Meek's conviction will ultimately be reversed in whole or in part". "Therefore the Commonwealth is unopposed to (Mill's) petition for bail".

A conference called Reform Philly: Bringing Injustice to Light took place earlier today (Tuesday) in Philadelphia which was centered around Meek Mill's case and live streamed by TIDAL.

You might have heard your favorite musician or athlete utter the phrase "Free Meek", and now his mother is pleading her son's case to Philadelphia's top lawyer.

Since sending Meek Mill to prison, Brinkley has come under fire for allegedly acting inappropriately and urging the rapper to leave his current management in favor of her colleague, Charles "Charlie Mack" Alston, but she has denied the allegations and contended that she's done nothing wrong.

The existence of a list of possibly corrupt cops became public last week on a judge's order in connection with other cases.

"There's brothers locked down that did nothing to be here but piss off people like Brinkley", Mill told Rolling Stone in an interview published Wednesday.
