Hero Launches Passion PRO and Passion XPRO In India

Hero MotoCorp has priced the Passion Pro 110 at Rs 53,189, while the 2018 Passion XPro is priced at Rs 54,189 (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The two Hero Passion motorcycles have received a slight bump in power and minor styling updates for the 2018 model year. The Passion 100cc has been now growing at around 20 per cent, Bhasin added.

The new Passion PRO is available in five metallic colour options including-Sports red, Strong and bright, Black monotone-exciting and premium, Force silver metallic, bold and vibrant, heavy grey metallic, sober and elegant, Frost blue metallic-cool and modern. In contrast, the Passion XPro is inclined with a slightly younger theme and sporty appeal and sports a sharper looking fuel tank with flush fuel lid, dynamic shrouds, sporty real cowl, duel-tone mirrors, LED tail lamp and more. It also features a digital-analogue instrument console as opposed to the analogue unit as seen on its predecessor, along with side stand indicator.

They get revised color schemes, graphics, and Auto Headlamp On (AHO) function.

The Passion XPro has stiffer rear suspension to make it a better handler. Interestingly, the Passion XPro gets a smaller, 9.2-litre fuel tank as compared to 11 litres on the Passion Pro.

Talking about the powertrain, the 2018 Hero Passion Pro and Passion XPro use the same 109 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor.

Meanwhile, the new Passion XPRO comes with a BS-IV compliant 110cc TOD engine, just like the new Passion PRO, and produces a maximum power output of 9.4bhp, along with producing a peak torque of 9Nm. The new Passion Pro is available in two variants - drum brakes on both ends or with an optional disc brake at front.

The 2018 Hero Passion Pro and Passion XPro compete against the new Bajaj Discover 110, Honda CD Dream Series, Honda Livo, TVS Victor and the likes in this extremely competitive segment.
