T's Official BTS Is Getting Their Own YouTube Original series

Korean and US users can join YouTube Red via g.co/BTSoffer.

On March 14, BigHit Entertainment announced that the group's documentary "BTS: Burn the Stage" will air exclusively on YouTube Red. They include their victory at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards as the victor of the Top Social Artist award and their stunning performance at the 2017 American Music Awards.

"Burn The Stage" closely examines the '2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III - The Wings Tour' over the course of 300 days. In addition, the highest number of views of K-pop singers until 2017 and 2018, and it was selected as Top 10 artist of YouTube music this year. The majority of BTS' views come from outside of South Korea, with 441 million originating from the U.S, 317 million from Brazil, and 230 million from Mexico. Episode 8 will be airing.

The first episode will be free for all fans to watch, but the rest of the eight episodes will only be viewable by YouTube Red subscribers. "YouTube has been instrumental in spreading BTS' music around the world, so today we're happy that we can be a part of this series' launch that showcases BTS' maturation as global phenomena", said Nadine Zylstra, Head of YouTube Originals, Asia Pacific. The promotional period is from March 14th to April 14th.

Currently, YouTube Red is available in Korea, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico, but users from other countries will be able to purchase the series separately, according to reports.
