Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ official with faster CPU and 5GHz WiFi

Without increasing the price of a Pi, the Foundation has maintained its long tradition of making enthusiasts very, very happy (judging by the excited fangirl and fanboi squeaking on Twitter and Reddit) as well as reassuring industrial clients which prefer stability to shiny that the old models will remain in production.

For instance, the brand new Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ might have a confusing name, but it's a clear upgrade over 2016's Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.

Raspberry Pi Model B+ comes after 2 years of the launch of Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. It is same as Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The size is about a deck of cards with 64-bit-quad core processor clocked at 1.4GHz.

While this doesn't seem like much of an update, this results in a 15 per cent performance compared to its predecessor.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) is supported, with an add-on planned that will allow the 5V needed to power the Pi to be slurped from the PoE supply. You can get Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ at its official website. We have been delighted by the take-up of the board by professional design engineers.

Raspberry launched its latest raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ on March 14, 2018.

"The new board has faster processing, faster-wired networking and improved wireless connectivity; and with modular compliance certification and the same extraordinary support provided through communities and forums, users can learn, create and bring products to market faster than ever before".
