NBC's 'This Is Us' Season 2 Finale: When And Where To Watch

NBC's 'This Is Us' Season 2 Finale: When And Where To Watch

We've all got something we're contending with, or several things, and so while they would be an unexpected friendship, it really does work.

Beyond that, we can guess that there will probably be some last minute bumps in the road for Toby and Kate.

As Randall said during his toast to Kate and Toby at the wedding reception, there's "zero point in trying to control the future because nobody knows where we'll be, not even in a year from now".

"I think as much as the importance is on Jack's death, [future storylines] are also going to be about them coping as a family", Hannah said. For answers on why old Jack was seen in the finale, read our recap. "Just be excited and enjoy". That's partly because Kevin spent most of the non-exhaling portion of it talking about his recovery from addiction, but also because the moment seemed created to serve a larger goal: to signal to the This Is Us audience that this period of the series, which has been so focused on continuing to grapple with the impact of Jack Pearson's death, is about to embark on a new chapter.

This Is Us fans have spent the season coming to terms with Jack's death and are now waiting for the next shoe to drop. Theories have been swirling that the Pearson clan is about to deal with another major loss in the family, and Rebecca and Beth seem to be the most popular targets of these devastating theories. Mandy Moore exclaimed to ET at the show's SXSW finale presentation, claiming she hadn't heard any rumors.

I wanted to do something special for having something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Will this be before the couple say I do? "I'm just unaware perhaps". Because this is TV and especially because it's "This Is Us", don't expect it to go the way you think. "We'll see what happens". It would also contextualize Jack's potentially telling words to Rebecca, when he says, "Where'd the time go, Bec?" The father-daughter duo have one of the strongest connections in the Pearson family, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Kate was so desperate to have her dad present on her big day that she imagined, just for a moment, that he was. Moore admitted that she hopes to do a duet with a duet with Chrissy Metz in the future, so that could be on the table for season 3, as well.

GM will test an Airbnb-like service for cars
The company will be entering a market catered to by smaller players, with Turo and Getaround being the most successful so far. GM's Maven unit rents vehicles to drivers, including customers looking for short-term wheels.

Randall's speech cut between footage of his future self and adult-Tess saying, "It's time to go see her". It certainly would make sense for that dream idea to be wedding-related, wouldn't it?

"It's a side of Jack that we haven't seen", Milo told E! And we don't need Beth to be sick or dead to know that her family would be lost without her. But what it? WHAT IF? Jennifer Salke, NBC Entertainment President, has hinted that there's likely more to come after a third season. We'll try and stay calm until September. On the plane, Kevin holds a picture of Jack during his Vietnam War days. At one point, she breaks away from the family and all the pre-wedding activities and retreats to a spot in the woods she frequented with Jack with an urn of his ashes under her arm.

Are we completely bonkers for going down this route? For the most part, that change was for the better because, while This Is Us can't be accused of trafficking in realism, it was a little more real in the way it handled issues such as racism, pregnancy, and the process of fostering a child.

Jack's still alive somewhere, right?

But seriously, many beloved TV shows have explored the alternate universe theory through "What if?" episodes, where fans get to see how the characters' lives would have played out under different circumstances. This show is notorious for throwing in twists and turns that make us cry because the writers got it right.
