Colts Among Teams 'In Play' for Patriots Free Agent RB Dion Lewis

The now interested teams are the Dolphins, Jets, Giants, Titans, Texans, Colts, 49ers, per a source with knowledge of the situation.

In addition to the New England Patriots, seven teams are believed to have interest in signing Dion Lewis. He intends to sign a four-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Lewis is considered one of the top backs on the market, so it's no surprise that he's receiving tons of interest.

Posluszny retires after 11 National Football League seasons with Bills, Jaguars
ESPN's Adam Rittenberg rated the Aliquippa native as the No. 5 Big Ten player of the decade , regardless of position. Posluszny played seven seasons with the Jaguars and is the franchise's second all-time leading tackler (815).

Meanwhile, the starting running back for the 49ers in 2017, Carlos Hyde, is scheduled to become a free agent on Wednesday with little resistance from San Francisco.

The Titans got their complementary running back for Derrick Henry. The 5'8 tailback was part of a solid lineage of NFL-bound tailbacks at the University of Pittsburgh, but struggled to make an impact after being selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. However, Lewis missed the 2013 season with Cleveland due to a fractured fibula and did not play in 2014 after a brief time on the Colts' roster. Lewis is by no means just a pass-down back, as he proved late last season when he carried the Patriots' offense on his back. But it was Lewis' versatility as a receiver that made him a prime potential target for new Raiders coach Jon Gruden, as Lewis racked up 32 receptions for 213 yards (6.7 yards per reception) and three touchdowns last season. He finished with nine total touchdowns and 1,110 yards from scrimmage.
