Sonam Kapoor confirms The Zoya Factor Release Date

The film is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma. According to the official announcement, Sonam will be paired with Dulquer Salmaan. The film is an adaptation of the hugely popular novel called The Zoya Factor by Anuja Chauhan. It is about a girl named Zoya Singh Solanki who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team during the 2010 Cricket World Cup. And the events follow subsequently.

The music for the film will be scored by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and the film is slated to release on April 5, 2019. The actress released the first look of her next film, The Zoya Factor, opposite Dulquer Salmaan. The movie is supposed to be directed by Abhishek Sharma.

Now this one is really special for me! The movie is said to be based on a book by the same name by Anuja Chauhan.

Dulquer Salmaan is on a roll! The book has many layers, characters and tracks, so it took Neha Rakesh Sharma some time to pen a tight screenplay and Pradhuman Singh to write the dialogues.

He will be first seen in Ronnie Screwvala's movie Karwaan co-starring Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. "Now, we've gone back to Anuja who's happy with the script to polish it and work on additional dialogues as nobody knows the characters better than her", informed director. "I loved the idea and how the book was adapted for the screen". Dulquer, who is a cricket enthusiast, will start prepping for his part closer to August when the film goes on floors.
