Singer Aditya Narayan Detained By Versova Police In Road Accident Case

Aditya Narayan, son of veteran singer Udit Narayan has been detained by the Versova Police in a rash driving case. The accident occured at Andheri's Lokhandwala resulting in the injury of the auto rickshaw driver and one passenger.

The incident took place when the singer attempted to take a U-turn and misjudged the traffic. He has been booked under the Sections of 338 (causing grievous hurt act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 279 (rash driving or riding on public way). The police are still waiting for the results of the test to arrive. They were taken to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital by Narayan himself.

But he initially refused to pay the amount to the female check-in staff member and said that he will not pay more than Rs 10,000 for excess baggage. "We will take further action once he is discharged", said Kiran Kale, senior inspector, Versova police station. A video of him screaming at airport authorities went viral as well.
