Nicole Kidman sets new series 'The Undoing' at HBO

Kidman will executive produce with her Blossom Films partner Per Saari and star in the adaptation of Jean Hanff Korelitz's novel You Should Have Known. She'll have to rebuild her life in the wake of the revelations.

The Undoing is the story of Grace Sachs (Kidman) who is a successful therapist with a book on the way, a good marriage and a son in a private school in New York City. Papandrea will exec produce via her Made Up Stories banner. But then it all appears to go wrong: there's a violent death, her husband goes missing, and she starts discovering all sorts of bad things about him.

Ordered by HBO, the network's programming president Casey Bloys said in a press release that he was excited to see the miniseries, called The Undoing, come to life.

Big Little Lies actor and executive producer Nicole Kidman is reuniting with the show's creator, David E. Kelley, for the limited series THE UNDOING at HBO. Kidman and Kelley, as well as Reese Witherspoon, are also returning to HBO for a second season of Big Little Lies.

Kelley is repped by CAA and Michael Gendler; Blossom Films is with CAA and Alan Werthheimer; Papandrea is with WME.

"I loved this book", said Kelley, "A character driven psychological thriller, I'm excited about the adaptation and thrilled to be able to do it with Nicole and HBO". Abrams' Demimonde, Jordan Peele's Lovecraft Country, True Detective, Sharp Objects, The Deuce and Here and Now, among others.
