Mizzou returns to NCAA Tournament for first time in 5 seasons

The victor will all but likely play No. 1 seeded Xavier, the fourth overall No. 1 seed, which the Musketeers earned their first ever No. 1 seed in school history.

Mizzou, a team that has never made it to the Final Four, is the No. 8 seed in the West Region.

Missouri is coming off a disappointing loss to Georgia in the SEC Tournament, but freshman Michael Porter Jr. saw significant action for the first time.

No. 12 seed South Dakota State figures to give fifth-seeded Ohio State a fight.
