Danny Amendola Expected To Leave Patriots, Sign With Dolphins

The Dolphins need help at receiver after trading Landry to the Cleveland Browns for a 2018 fourth-round pick and a 2019 seventh-round pick after not being able to agree to terms on a long-term deal with the three-time Pro Bowler.

According to a report from Dan Hellie with the NFL Network, Amendola is expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins.

It's a stunning development, as most analysts assumed Amendola would return for another season in New England if he elected to keep playing.

Amendola caught 61 passes for 659 yards and two touchdowns in the 2017 regular season, and was New England's star in the AFC Championship Game. However, he did his best work during the playoffs, where he caught 33 balls for 348 yards with two touchdowns in three games. He had a team-high 152 yards on eight catches in a losing effort in the Super Bowl.

Tenifa told the court about the gang's practices, including how boys as young as 9 are recruited and how they must put in "work". Before he died, the incident prompted US District Judge Tena Campbell, who was hearing the case, to declare a mistrial.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola thrived with Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Amendola is also an experienced return specialist, which could mean he'll push receiver/returner Jakeem Grant for his role.

Amendola, 32, was a good complementary piece for the Patriots offense, usually operating as a third option behind Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman. They also still have Brandin Cooks and Chris Hogan on the outside, as well as Phillip Dorsett and Kenny Britt.
