'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' collects $7.94 mn in China in second weekend

During the release, Jyoti Deshpande, Group CEO, Eros International, said: "China has emerged as an important market and major box office earner for Indian films in recent years, what with the recent success of "Dangal". The collection on its second Saturday is higher than its first Saturday and Sunday.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has turned out to be the biggest success of Salman Khan at the global box office, thanks to its splendid performance in the Chinese market. Despite the release of Black Panther, the social drama has managed to remain unstoppable at the ticket window. The film collects in Rs $ 2.88 million (Rs 18.67 crore) yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 169.42 crore. Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan earns Rs 150 crores in China. Bajrangi became highest grossing Indian film of all time domestically which is a record now held by Baahubali: The Conclusion. Written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, the film was produced by Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh.
