Apple's 2018 WWDC event starts June 4th

Apple typically uses the opening keynote of WWDC to announce software updates to the company's various platforms such as iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS.

The developer conference is schedule for June 4th through 8th, and like previous year, it will take place in San Jose's McEnery Convention Center.

This is the second year that Apple will host WWDC at the McEnery Convention Center.

As for what to expect from Apple at WWDC? Tickets will be issued randomly by March 23rd.

Members of Apple's Developer Program and its Developer Enterprise Program can apply for conference tickets now through March 22.

Students are an integral part of the Apple developer community.

There will also be up to 350 WWDC Student Scholarships available, which provides free tickets for aspiring young developers to attend the conference.
