Our first look at Nokia's Android One, Android Go smartphones

HMD hasn't announced either of the devices yet, but it's being speculated that both Nokia Android phones may be announced later this month during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. It'll reportedly run on Android Go, which is built for entry-level smartphones with 512MB to 1GB of memory. While majority are ready for the cookie update, Nokia seems to be thinking of using Android One.

Nokia 1 has been leaked in Navy Blue and Orange colour options. A single rear camera with LED flash can also be seen inside a pill-shaped enclosure. There appears to be a 3.5mm audio jack at the top edge.

This seems to be the first instance where we have seen renders of the rumoured Nokia 1 from a credible source. It is likely that the phone's back will be removable. Android Go Edition has been created to work on low-end devices with 512MB to 1GB RAM. Last year, HMD Global resurrected the iconic "Nokia" brand with the launch of Android-based smartphones, at MWC, and this year too the company is expected to unveil more than three devices. To recall, the Nokia N8 that launched in 2010 came with a great 12-megapixel camera which was designed by Zeiss. Which is to say that it will have minimal hardware with Google's software blessings and is expected to be the cheapest Nokia phone. Rumors have hinted that the smartphone will feature a 6-inch display, but the resolution is unknown. It powers with Snapdragon 660 Soc and paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It will support a microSD card slot for expandable storage.

Standard Life Aberdeen shares slump after £109bn Scottish Widows mandate is axed
JPMorgan Chase & Co. restated an "overweight" rating on shares of Standard Life Aberdeen in a report on Thursday, November 16th. They said last year's merger between Standard Life and Aberdeen Asset Management created competition issues.

Back in December, an unpacked Nokia Camera app revealed a list of Nokia phones consisting of released models and some unreleased ones. The front camera will be a 16MP unit with "Tetracell" technology.

Since it is now said to be an Android One device, it will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box without no bloatware.
